National Day for Truth & Reconciliation - September 30

The Fort Vermilion School Division is committed to honoring the Calls to Action outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
This year, September 30, 2021 is being recognized as a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Schools within the Fort Vermilion School Division will be CLOSED and there will be NO CLASSES in honor of this day.
FVSD encourages students and staff to wear ORANGE today (Sept 29) as we honor residential school survivors and those that did not make it home (Orange Shirt Day is officially Sept 30, however FVSD schools will be closed tomorrow).
The FVSD Success and Engagement Team invites you to watch the video below and learn more about survivors of Canada's residential schools in our region.
