Message from Ridgeview Central School
At Ridgeview Central School, we continue to be dedicated to providing a strong and comprehensive education program that prepares students for success in the 21st century. Our program focuses on three key areas: numeracy, literacy and connectivity.
In terms of numeracy, we aim to develop students' mathematical skills and help them develop an understanding of mathematical concepts. Our curriculum covers all areas of mathematics, including arithmetic, geometry, algebra and statistics, and is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a lifelong love for the subject.
Similarly, our literacy program is designed to help students develop strong reading and writing skills. From a young age, we place a strong emphasis on developing students' phonological awareness and reading comprehension skills, and help them build a love for books and reading. Our writing curriculum is designed to help students become confident and competent writers, with a focus on developing writing skills that can be applied in a variety of situations and contexts.
Finally, our focus on connectivity is about helping students develop the skills they need to connect with the world around them. We also place a strong emphasis on developing students' interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Ridgeview Central School, in partnership with parents, and community, is committed to providing a variety of learning opportunities so that all students can succeed. By focusing on numeracy, literacy and connectivity, we are equipping our students with the skills they need to thrive in today's rapidly changing world.
