Debbie holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Since joining FVSD in 2003, she has worked with families and school personnel to ensure the safety and well-being of children and youth by assessing difficult situations, providing ongoing support, and building capacity. Debbie has experience working with diverse populations experiencing various mental health concerns. Debbie is client centred and uses a strength-based framework in her practice. Her goal is to establish a strong connection with clients, empowerment, and to build a trusting relationship throughout the counselling process.
