Notice to parents:

The Fort Vermilion School Division is dedicated to keeping your children safe and providing a superior education experience as we work through this COVID-19 pandemic. With that in mind, we would like to address some rumours in the community that cases of COVID-19 are being underreported in our schools.

The Provincial government has made public COVID-19 reporting in schools mandatory, and any cases above two (2) in any school would constitute an “outbreak.” We want to assure families that currently there are NO cases of COVID-19 reported in ANY FVSD schools.

We want to thank parents and caregivers for being vigilant in watching for the symptoms of COVID-19, and ensuring that their daily COVID-19 Symptom checklists are completed daily.

As always, we strive to work with our families to ensure the safety of FVSD students, and continue to provide a number of excellent education options for the region.
