As Building Futures Collegiate continues to grow, expanding courses and opportunities for students, we are already seeing success with the use of equipment simulators in our programs. Through the use of 11 high-fidelity heavy equipment simulators from CM Labs, student operators can learn in a low-risk environment and build their confidence long before stepping foot in the real machine. 

The ability to safely fail, restart, and try again, paired with the exceptional realism of these simulators, dramatically accelerates training time. In addition to creating a safe and controlled environment for student operators to learn, FVSD is also providing opportunities for local companies to use the simulators for new employee training. This connection to local industry allows Building Futures Collegiate to tailor programming to focus on the key skills and exercises required by local employers.
