Additional Information:

The Fort Vermilion School Division is hiring a Cree Language Specialist to assist with using the Cree Language to educate students.

The intended outcome of this initiative is to develop the use of the Cree language in teaching and learning.  The Cree Language Specialist will work full time with k-12 students and their teachers at Fort Vermilion Public/St. Mary's Catholic Schools.  This position will commence on a mutually agreed upon date, working instructional days during the 10 month school year.   For more information, please contact Natalie Morris, Supervisor of Learning Services - Connectivity, nataliem@fvsd.ab.ca.

Salary & Benefits:

• up to $70,000 annual salary depending on skills and qualifications
• benefits will be provided after the mandatory 90-day probationary period is successfully completed
