Christmas Greetings from the Fort Vermilion School Board:
On behalf of the FVSD Board of Trustees I would like to wish all our students, staff, parents, and our communities a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. We have faced challenges we would never have imagined only a couple years ago. Entering into this season of hope I would encourage everyone to focus; not on the difficulties we have endured, but on the great spirit of dedication, courage, and creativity that we have seen all around us throughout these tough times. In spite of the frustrations and sacrifices, we have so much to be proud of and thankful for.
I issue a special challenge to all our students:
I challenge you to embrace the true meaning of this season by naming three good things that you experienced over the past year, and to list three things you will do in this coming year to make yourself, your school, and your community a little better than they are now. And I invite you to send me your lists and your plans of how you will make them happen! (firstname.lastname@example.org)
I wish you all a safe and restful Holiday season, that we may enter the New Year revitalized and filled with hope and determination to make this coming year a better one for all!
