We are pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Kierstead as Principal of Florence MacDougall Community School effective the 2024-2025 school year. Heather brings 20 years of experience in education in various roles. Heather received her Master of Education in Special Education in 2016.

Having 20 years of experience in elementary education, with specialties in literacy and inclusive education, I am eager to work collaboratively with staff and families to support the success of each child.
