Teacher Application Process
Teachers can apply to positions in FVSD free of charge through ApplyToEducation. To view and apply to positions with FVSD, please click on the link below. As we transition to this application process, applicants may still email their application to firstname.lastname@example.org until July 1, 2020.
Career opportunities in FVSD are posted on our website as they become available and may also be advertised in other electronic and print media. Applicants are encouraged to sign up for the "Job Alert" feature on ApplytoEducation to be notified by email when positions are posted.

Internal Applicants - Current FVSD employees may email their interest as application on specific job postings.
STEP 1: How to Register with Fort Vermilion School Division (FVSD)
Click here to register with FVSD on ApplyToEducation. If you are already registered, please proceed to Step 2 to submit your application to the job posting(s).
To complete your online profile, you will be asked to upload the following:
- Cover letter
- Practicum reports and/or teaching evaluations
- Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Names and contact information (including current email) of three professional references
Once you have completed these steps you must apply to the job posting(s) to be considered for employment within FVSD.
STEP 2: How to Apply to Active Positions in FVSD
- Log into your ApplyToEducation account at via https://fvsd.simplification.com/
- Click 'Job Postings' on the navigation bar and select 'Search Jobs'
- Select the job posting title of the job that you would like to apply for and click the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the page.
Note: Jobs that you have applied to successfully will appear in your 'Job Application Log' in the Job Posting section.
Applications for Substitute Teaching positions are always accepted through the Active Job Posting.
