Under the Carver Model of governing, the Board focuses on governance, rather than day to day operations. Policies are set to support the Board's vision, mission, goals and priorities and are monitored, reviewed and revised annually.
Each October, the Board of Trustees reviews an annual Board Work Plan that lays out the meetings for that year. The document indicates the meeting dates, agenda items, necessary communications, and other relevant dates. Although the work plan does get altered from time to time, the intent is to provide a clear picture of upcoming business for the Trustees.
Regular Board Meetings
The agenda for each Regular Board Meeting is set in advance in order to ensure all aspects of governance are visited in a timely manner each calendar year. Regular (Public) Board meetings are held once per month, generally on the third Wednesday of the month.
Although meetings officially begin at 10:00 AM, the regular meeting including setting the agenda will commence at 2:00 PM. Board meetings are open to the public and official delegations are welcome. To present as a delegation, please contact the Superintendent. Copies of the agendas and minutes are posted for each Regular Board Meeting.

The public portion of the Board Meeting will begin at 2:00 PM. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
