Supplies List for Grade 1 – 2009-2010  

3 half interlined/half blank scribblers
3 interlined scribblers
1 package of 5 duotangs (assorted colours) - no names on duotangs please
30 pencils (HB*) 
Pencil Crayons * (24 pack or larger)
Crayons (24 pack or larger)
Markers – 1 package each of thin and thick markers
6 erasers (white kind is the best)
2 big bottles white glue
6 glue sticks (****larger size)
1 pair scissors (Please try scissors to ensure they cut properly,)
1 box or container to keep pencils and crayons in.
1 pair of indoor shoes
1 box Kleenex (optional)
1 Backpack

 *We also greatly appreciate having all pencils and pencil crayons sharpened and labeled with your child’s name prior to the first day of school.   Labeling pencils and crayons results in fewer crayons lost throughout the year.

** Please note that it is better to buy good quality pencils, crayons, etc., as they will last longer.  The bargain pencils break easily and are difficult to sharpen and the low-cost crayons and pencil crayons often do not colour well and also break easily especially when sharpened.
